God’s Plan to Bless You and All People

Jesus taught us to pray, “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10). Prophecies indicate this kingdom is near at hand. We are at the threshold of the most glorious epoch Earth has ever seen—the blessing of Christ’s Millennial Kingdom! This will be the “Golden Age” mankind has cherished in their hopes and aspirations since the dawn of history. The results will be more wonderful, more glorious, more all encompassing, than even the dreams of philosophers, poets and sages. The best which noble men and women have dared imagine will be surpassed by the wonders God has planned.

• There will be world peace (Psalms 46:9).

• All defects of humanity will be healed (Isaiah 35:5, 6).

• Moral integrity will be planted in every heart (Jeremiah 31:33).

• Sorrow, pain, tears and death itself will cease (Revelation 21:4; Isaiah 11:9).

• Even the dead of past ages will be raised to life again (Acts 24:15).
 

Two Salvations in God’s Kingdom 

Jesus promised God's Kingdom nearly 2,000 years ago. Why the long delay? The secret to understanding God’s ultimate plan is to recognize that the Scriptures teach two salvations for mankind, a Heavenly and an Earthly.

Heavenly Salvation

The 2,000 years of the Gospel age are for the selection and development of a Heavenly Church class. This elect class is comprised of those who in their present life dedicate themselves to be faithful followers of Christ. Their life is one of total commitment to serving our Heavenly Father supremely. If faithful, they are promised a Heavenly reward (Matthew 5:3-12).

Earthly Salvation

The purpose of developing this “heavenly” class is so they as joint heirs with Christ will as “priests” bless all the rest of earth’s billions in the Earthly phase of God’s Kingdom (Revelation 20:6). Note a few of the scriptures that refer to the Earthly phase of God’s Kingdom.

• Matthew 6:10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as in heaven.

• Isaiah 11:9 For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

• Isaiah 26:9 When thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.

• Isaiah 65:21 And they shall build houses,...and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.

• Isaiah 65:25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together,…They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.

• Isaiah 35:1-6 NIV The desert and the parched land will...blossom like the rose. The eyes of the blind shall be opened and the ears of the deaf unstopped.

• Ecclesiastes 1:4 The earth abideth for ever.

Opportunity for All

In God’s Kingdom, the Heavenly Church class will have the privilege of awakening from the sleep of death every man, woman and child that has ever lived. Their awakening will be here on planet Earth in the earthly phase of God’s Kingdom. Notice the scriptures that show ALL mankind will be raised from death to life and given an opportunity for earthly salvation. 

• 1 Timothy 2:4 Who will have ALL men to be saved (from Adamic death by being awakened), and to come unto the knowledge of the truth (in the earthly phase of God’s Kingdom).

• 1 Corinthians 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall ALL be made alive.

• Zephaniah 3:8, 9 Then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may ALL call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent.

• Jeremiah 31:34 RSV No longer shall each man teach his neighbor and each his brother, saying, “Know the LORD,” for they shall ALL know me, from the least of them to the greatest, says the LORD; for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

• Acts 15:16,17 After this (the selection of the Church) I will rebuild the tabernacle of David which is fallen down...that the residue of men might seek after the Lord.

Yes, ALL mankind will gradually be awakened from the sleep of death. Every help will be given them by the Heavenly Church class to transform their characters into loving, obedient sons of God. They will be instructed, guided and, yes, disciplined with a loving hand as needed for the purpose of rehabilitation. 

Those who change their characters and pass the final test will receive everlasting, perfect earthly life. A life of happiness filled with unending blessings (Isaiah 25:6-8)! What a prospect!

Why God Permitted Evil

At the close of the 1000 year Millennial Kingdom mankind will look back on their lives and fully understand why God permitted pain, sorrow and death in this first life. They will realize it was God’s wisdom and love that permitted this learning experience as a lesson that will never be forgotten! God allowed mankind to first experience the painful effects of disobedience caused by father Adam’s sin. Then, as mankind has the contrast of the blessings of peace, health and perfect life as a result of obedience in God’s Kingdom, they will be able to appreciate those blessings in a way they could never have done without the lesson of the permission of evil. 

The Culmination of God’s Plan

The culmination of God’s Plan for mankind is described beautifully in Ephesians 1:9,10 (Barclay Translation). “He revealed to us the secret of His will, and of the purpose which long ago He had in Christ. This purpose is finally to bring to their conclusion all events in history, and to make of all things, things in heaven and things on earth, one perfect whole in Christ.” Yes, all in the Heavenly and Earthly phases of God’s Kingdom will recognize Christ as head and will go on to serve God eternally. The promise of Revelation 21:4 will be fulfilled forever. “God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”
